Sri Lanka Cricket is annoyed with an interview of Kumar Sangakkara that got published in a newspaper and is set to tighten the noose as far players’ interaction with the media is concerned.
According to the new regulation that is likely to be set in place soon, Sri Lankan players will have to obtain prior permission from SLC CEO Ajith Jayasekera before speaking to the media.
A letter to this effect is to be drafted by Jayasekera, in consultation with SLC lawyer Harsha Amarasekera, and sent to all the contracted players, website ‘ESPNcricinfo’ reported.
