Last Updated 29 May 2012, 17:13 IST

Hindu Jagarana Vedike Dakshina Pranthya Convenor Sathyajith Suresh urged the government to ban PFI and KFD as the organisations have been engaging into anti-national activities.

Speaking at a protest rally organised by the Hindu Jagarana Vedike here on Tuesday, he flayed the assault on Bajrang Dal convener Ganesh and alleged that the PFI and KFD were responsible for the assault. He said “when terrorist Nazeer was arrested, we had complaint to the police that Nazeer was engaged in Taliban model training in the district. However, the police have failed to initiate action.”

Four accused who had assaulted Ganesh were arrested. The police should arrest all the culprits, he said. Bajrang Dal Dakshina Pranthya Convenor Mandya Manju said as per the intelligence report, PFI and KFD have been identified as terrorist organisations.

He alleged “the Muslim organisations want to convert the entire country into a Muslim country by 2045. The Hindu girls are forcibly converted to Islam through Love Jihad.”

RSS leader Chekkera Manu Kaverappa said the assault was an attempt to spoil harmony in the district. Zilla Panchayat President Ravi Kushalappa, ZP member Bharathessh, BJP leaders M B Devaiah, Napanda Ravi Kalappa, Kodava Sahitya Academy former president Rani Machaiah and others were present.
