SKDRDP's 30th year celebrations on June 22

A programme will be organised, to commemorate SKDRDP completing 30 years, of dedicated service to the society, at Amruthavarshini hall in Dharmasthala on June 22 at 4 pm.

According to a press release, Union Minister for Rural Development Jairam Ramesh will take part and will disburse the dividends earned by the 4,000 SHGs in Belthangady taluk for the year. Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Jagadish Shettar will be the chief guest.

A book titled “Inclusive rural development in reality – Triumph of SKDRDP,’  which is the outcome of the impact study initiated by Justice K S Hegde Institute of Management in Nitte will be released. The book is edited by Prof G V Joshi, member of the state planning board and Professor at the institute.   Shettar will also release G V Joshi’s compilation “Grameenabhivrudhi Yojane – chinthane, anushtana mathu prabhava”. MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, K Jayaprakash Hegde will take part.

Dharmadhikari D Veerendra Heggade will preside. SKDRDP will dedicate three new innovative programmes on the occasion. Minister Jairam Ramesh will visit several villages and will also visit RUDSETI Campus in Ujire and Siri campus in Belthangady.
