"The Nike+ Human Race celebrates runners and their sport by connecting them to other runners around the world through this global event", Marketing Director of Nike India, Sanjay Gangopadhyay, told reporters here today.
The multi-city event last year saw the participation of 780,000 people, the company said.
Race registration for runners here opens on September 24 on Nikeplus.in, officials said, adding that runners can also register at Nike stores in the city.
Long-jumper Anju Bobby George, a Nike athlete, present at the press conference, supported the race.
