Actress Shazahn Padamsee is on cloud nine after the raging success of Housefull 2.After a successful stint on the big screen, she now wants to multi-task and continue doing theatre as well.

“Performing in front of an audience is a challenge in itself and I do want to get back to theatre, as those are my roots and that’s what my family does too.

In fact, I would say that my acting career got great leverage since I was an
active stage performer. I think theatre is the greatest challenge
in my life,” she says.

She adds that her confidence in front of the camera is purely because of her theatre background.

Her next venture is a film, which is all about fun and youth-related issues. “It’s a fun film and serious at the same time. I play the main lead in it, along with Ajay Devgan. Working with him was a great experience and I learnt a lot from him. He is a live wire on the set. It was a very nice experience working with him and I hope to do so in the future as well,” she adds.

Shazahn’s last movie was Housefull 2, which turned out to be quite a winner at the box office.“The success of the film has not sunk in yet. We had a ball of a time shooting for the film. All of us gelled  like a big family. I am very fond of Akshay Kumar and really liked
working with him. He made us all feel very comfortable on the set,” she says, adding, “In fact, the set was full of energy and all of us played pranks on each other.

We hope to have the same cast again and all of us keep in touch,’ she
explains. Talking about accepting roles down South, she informs that she loves
learning languages and has done many movies in the Telugu film industry.

“Film is a medium of art and language is no barrier. I have no qualms about
accepting offers down South,” she says.

Her style statement so far has been very safe and she prefers to keep it like that.
“I am a very feminine person and I like dressing up that way. You could call my statement safe — that is how I prefer it,” she sums up.
