MCC celebrates Gandhi Jayanthi

 Mayor M Shankar Bhat presided over the programme in which Deputy Mayor Rajani Dugganna, MCC Commissioner Dr Vijay Prakash and MLA N Yogish Bhat were chief guests. Rotaract Club Chairman Dr Devdas Rai and Nehru Yuva Kendra Co-ordinator Shantha Kumar were the guests of honour.

Earlier, Rotaract club in association with Nehru Yuva Kendra and NSS units of various educational institutions organised a Peace March from PVS circle to MCC office. Rotary Club of Mangalore Central President Krishna Hegde flagged off the march. Mayor Shankar Bhat garlanded the Gandhi Statue at Lalbagh on the occasion, informed a press release.
