IAC activists, journalist manhandled in Farrukhabad

Unidentified persons allegedly manhandled members of India Against Corruption and a journalist on Thursday while the latter were conducting a survey regarding allegations of financial irregularities in a trust run by Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid.

Stones were pelted on Abhinandan Mishra, a Delhi-based journalist  and members of IAC led by local convener Laxman Singh while they were returning from Pitaura in Kayamganj area in the afternoon. Pitaura is home town of Khurshid who represents the Farrukhabad Lok Sabha constituency of Uttar Pradesh.
