FUCC champions; Kirmani hits 200

Friends Union Cricket Club emerged champions in the KSCA Group I, Division I tournament for the Sir Mirza Ismail Shield drawing their game against Vultures Cricket Club.

Friends Union clinched the title with 38 points from 11 matches. Vultures, who were the defending champions, finished sixth on the table. Modern Cricket Club and Malleswaram Gymkhana were relegated after ending the tournament at the bottom of the table.

Sadiq Kirmani’s double hundred was the highlight of the Friends Union innings while Kunal Kapoor chipped in with a century.
