<p>England pacer Steven Finn has been ruled out of the first Test against India due to a thigh injury, confirmed the team management here Wednesday.<br /><br />England captain Alastair Cook said the 23-year-old pacer will not take part in the match at Motera beginning Thursday.<br /><br />"Steven will not be available for tomorrow's Test. It would be too big a risk," said Cook on Finn, who did not attend Tuesday's training session.</p>.<p>Though it is not yet confirmed who will replace Finn but most likely Tim Bresnan will feature in the first XI.</p>.<p>England's other fast bowler Stuart Broad's fitness is already in question since he is suffering from a bruised heel. The other option for the visitors is seamer Graham Onions.</p>
