Deadline set for road repair

 Jaya Karnataka Sangha has set a deadline of 10 days to take up the work on the road from Kadanoor Junction to Kukloor.

The two-km road is in a deplorable condition. However, the authorities concerned have failed to repair the road. If the authorities fails to repair the road within 10 days, we will stage protest, said president Mandetira Anil.

He said the state highway between Virajpet-Madikeri is also in a deplorable condition. The work on the main road at Bethari village is of poor quality, he added.

He said members of the Sangha would stage a protest demonstration if the authorities concerned did not act and set right the problem within the deadline
