JOIN USOpposition leaders, party presidents, MPs, Union ministers from the State have been invited to the meeting. The damage due to the floods and the funds required for rehabilitation will also be discussed at the all-party meeting.
The Cabinet meeting, scheduled to be held on Sunday evening, among others will assess the crop loss and programmes to mitigate the suffering of the farmers. The BJP Legislature party meeting has been scheduled on the same day.
Review meeting
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will hold a review meeting at Raichur on Saturday after an aerial survey of the rain-affected areas of the state. Chief Minister Yeddyurappa, Ministers V S Acharya and Suresh Kumar will also accompany the PM during the aerial survey.
Yeddyurappa will submit a memorandum on the flood situation and the grants required for the rehabilitation programme. Yeddyurappa left for Hyderabad with Acharya and Suresh Kumar on Friday evening.
