Two persons have been arrested for allegedly acquiring a shop with fake documents here on Saturday. Ranganath and Raghavendra, residents of Bangarpet, are the arrested.
According to the town police, the duo created fake documents to take over a shop belonged to T S Ramamurthy, also a resident of the town.
Ramamurthy, in his complaint, has stated that he had leased out his shop to one H R Rajanna Shetty on Bazar Road. After his demise, his son H R Ranganath worked at the shop.
“But till now, he has not paid the rent. The court has ordered him to vacate the shop. However, he has failed to do so. Ranganath has created fake documents to own the shop, now,” Ramamurthy has said in the complaint.
