It was a fun-filled Deepavali cum Gujarati new Year bash as Lalit Sanghvi and family entertained a glittery crowd all turned out in their festive best with plenty of song and dance, fun and frolic at a party recently.

Unlike the heavy duty card playing dos that had kept the City’s party folks busy for the last couple of weeks, this lively event had DJ Durian and Emcee Abbas kept the guests on their toes all evening. The colours of the evening were bright jewel toned sarees and lehengas with men turning up in well-coordinated kurtas and sherwanis.

A surprise element was the Jhalak Dhikhla Jaa choreographer Deepak, who managed to get everyone on the dance floor teaching them some peppy Bollywood steps and moves which the guests sportingly copied.
Biju, the boy with the golden voice, sang some beautiful old sentimental hits from yester years and set the tone for the evening.

Prettily decorated dandiyas were handed out to the enthusiastic guests who took to the floor and practised their stick tapping routine, keeping to the beat and managing to dance and tap the night away without injuring anyone.
