Regularising properties

Since lakhs of Bangaloreans are faced with a range of problems related to land documentation, there was a loud thinking in the State government to regularise properties and issue khatas at least to the existing housing units in the BBMP limits.

A newly elected government is expected to take some key decisions in this regard. 

However, there is also a fear that once the documentation process is made smoother, a lot more illegal revenue layouts might mushroom. BBMP insiders say the anxiety is based on past experience.
