Rock on with Farhan

     “It’s very exciting as I have been performing on stage with Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy,” Farhan told Metrolife.

    “And I have performed with Parikrama before, at the Rock On For Humanity concert in Mumbai last year. So when this opportunity came about, I was thrilled,” he says. Has he practiced with the band for the show? “We do have jamming sessions during the day,” he answers.  
He will be performing tracks from his hit film Rock On, apart from covers of bands like U2 and The Beatles.    

    “It’s basically the music I enjoyed while growing up,” he says. He is a huge fan of Kishore Kumar and R D Burman. “On an international level, I like The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Michael Jackson.”

     Farhan is also excited about seeing The Raghu Dixit Project live at the concert as he enjoys their music. Though he plays the guitar often, Farhan isn’t sure whether he will strumming the instrument at the concert.

     The talented artiste is looking forward to performing in Bangalore.
   “We were supposed to perform in the City last year, during the release of Rock On. But unfortunately, it got cancelled due to security reasons.” So what can the audience expect from the concert?

   “Honestly, I hope it’s as rocking as possible and that people have fun at the show,” he says.
