<p>A young married woman, who was found abandoned in an injured condition on the railway tracks in K G Halli, succumbed to injuries on Monday morning. The deceased has been identified as Farha, 20. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Some of the residents alerted K G Halli police Sunday night that a woman was found abandoned injured on the railway tracks near the Shampur Railway Gate.<br />A police team rushed to the spot and took the woman to Dr B R Ambedkar Medical College and Hospital.<br /><br />Murder attempt<br /><br />Police sources say that though they suspect that she might have been hit by a speeding train, the nature of her head injuries suggests that someone attempted to murder her. Thereafter, she was abandoned on the railway tracks. <br /><br />During investigation, police were led to her house in Gandhinagar, K G Halli, and discovered that her husband has been missing since the incident.<br /><br />Husband’s role<br /><br />Police suspect that the husband might be involved in the incident and have launched a manhunt for him.<br /><br />The case was later transferred to Byappanahalli Railway Police.</p>
