Addressing a press meet on Saturday, she said essay, elocution, painting competitions will be organised on November 6 at 10 am. Painting competitions will be held for the students of fifth to seventh standard. Winners will receive Rs 2,000, Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 respectively.
Essay competition will be conducted for the students of eighth to tenth standard. The winners will receive Rs 3,000, Rs 2,000 and Rs 1000 respectively. Elocution competition will be held for the college students. Winners will receive Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000, Rs 2,000 respectively. The last date for registering names is November 5.
