The Met department has issued a warning stating heavy rain in the south-east Rajasthan in the next 24 hours.
Heavy rain has been witnessed in south Rajasthan in the last few days. The monsoon showers continued in the state with Udaipur reporting over 58 mm of rain in the last 24 hours. Jaipur also witnessed moderate rain on Thursday bringing the city to a standstill with over flowing drainage making roads waterlogged.
Commuters especially the schoolchildren had a hard time reaching home.
The Met department forecasts additional rain or thunder showers at a few places in north-east Rajasthan and at isolated places in the rest of the state. Light to moderate rain occurred at many places at Kota division among other places.
