Special poojas and decoration in temples on Kartika Somavara

The idol of lord Naganatheshwara at the famous Naganatheshwara temple in Arekere village in the taluk was specially decorated for the purpose.

Many people from Srinivaspur and neighbouring villages took part in the special pooja organised on the occasion.

Special poojas had been arranged at The Shaneshwara Temple near Punganuru cross, Seeta Bhairaveshwaraswamy temple and Ayyappa swamy temple.

Cultural programmes

Cultural programmes were also organised to mark the day. Other temples were special poojas had been organised include Kashi Vishwanatha Temple in Rayalpadu, Venkataramanaswamy temple in Ganibanda, Shaneshwara temple in Kolluru, Kodandaramaswamy temple in Yalduru and others.
