Dattamala Abhiyan from November 21

Datta Jayanthi will be observed between November 29 and December 1

 
Addressing a news conference on Monday Bajrang Dal Zonal Convener Suryanarayan said that Dattamala Dharana ceremony will be held in all the taluks of the State on November 21 and the Abhiyan will be started with Dattapuja and homas. Datta Jayanthi will be observed from November 29 to December 1 with various religious programmes and rituals.

He said that Ganapathi Homa, Anasuyadevipuja, Durgahoma will be conducted on November 29, in which a large number of women are expected to participate. On November 30, Ganapathi Homa, Rudra Homa will be conducted at Dattapeetha. Shobhayathre of Dattathreya will be held on the same day, which will be attended by Bajrang Dal National Convener Prakash Sharma.

He said that on December 1, Ganapathi Homa and Datta Homa will be conducted as part of Datta Jayanthi. Various religious programmes will be held in the noon.

“Government must see to it that stay order on the repair of the peetha is lifted at the earliest and the repair works of the cave is started soon. Government must bring the ‘Datta padukas’ to the peetha and provide opportunity to seers and devotees to offer prayers to the padukas,” he opined.

He said that as far as Dattapeetha is concerned the rights of Hindus have been suppressed by the government. He said that Government will have to fulfil all the demands of the organisation with regard to Dattapeetha. As a part of silver jubilee celebration of Bajrang Dal, conventions will be held at taluk and district levels and various service programmes will be held. Bajrang Dal District Convener Pudiyokkada Ramesh, Vishwa Hindu Parishat Co-ordinating Secretary Raj Kumar and others were present.
