Managerial skills put to test

The department of management of St Claret College organised its annul inter-collegiate fest Anveshan ’13 recently.

The annual event provides a platform for all the students to exhibit their talents and take part in simulated events to develop their managerial skills. Eighteen colleges from the City participated in different activities like business idea (‘The Innovators’), crisis management (‘The HR Gurus’), business quiz (‘The Invincibles’), marketing (‘The Creative Wizards’), finance (‘The Analysts’), best manager (‘The Rock’) and corporate fashion show (‘The Fashionistas’).

The big attraction was the best manager contest, which had 16 participants.

The fashion show with the theme ‘Corporate Wear’ had eight teams vying for the prizes.

The winner of the best manager event was Hrishikesh Barua of Koshy’s College while Seshadripuram Institute of Commerce and Management won the fashion show round. The ‘Overall Champion’s Trophy’ was bagged by Kristu Jayanti College.
