Superintendent of Police Sandeep Patil told mediapesons here on Tuesday that the accused Saheb Warish (35), Mohammad Foin Warish (30), Shaheen Nawaz (26) and car drivers Akhtar (28) and Asif (25) were from Agra in Uttar Pradesh.

They were smuggling sandalwood oil from Madakasira in Ananthpur district of Andhra Pradesh. Police also seized sandalwood billets valued at Rs 1.2 lakh and a SUV.
They had concealed 25 kg oil below the seats in a specially-made tank. The arrests were made on a tip off, he added.
