Young leaders' initiative

A group of dynamic youth who want to try their luck in politics to bring in reforms in the policitial system in the country have formed an organisation - Young Leaders Collective (YLC) which aims at generating statesmen instead of politicians. The YLC on Tuesday had an interactive session at the Chowdiah Memorial Hall where Congress MLA Krishna Byregowda and Dr Meenakshi Bharath were the main orators to guide the young aspirants.

Dr Meenakshi Bharath told the youth that politics is not something that can be ignored simply because it is filled now with bad people.

Speaking on the occasion, Krishna Byregowda said the youth need to change their attitude towards politics and consider it as a means to serve the nation.
