<p>BJP's chief ministerial candidate Vasundhara Raje on Tuesday met Rajasthan Governor Margaret Alva and staked claim to form the government following her party’s massive victory in the Assembly polls. </p>.<p> <br /><br />Raje was accompanied by the party MLA Gulabchand Kataria and party secretary Bhupendra Yadav. <br />The meeting lasted for a few minutes, Raj Bhawan sources said. The swearing in ceremony will take place on December 13 at 11.30 at Amrutom ka Bagh in Jaipur, said party sources. <br /><br />BJP national president Rajnath Singh and prime ministerial candidate and Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi are among those invited to the ceremony.<br /><br />On Monday night, the newly elected MLAs of the BJP unanimously chose Raje as their leader. She was projected as the chief ministerial candidate during the elections. <br /><br />BJP secured a three fourth majority, the biggest ever victory, in the 200-member Rajasthan Assembly. Congress could manage just 21 seats. <br /><br />Congress had won 96 seats in the 2008 Assembly polls when it had wrested power from Raje while BJP had 78 seats.<br /></p>
