Sriramulu, along with MLA C C Patil, received the chief minister in Naragund and he was present even when the CM addressed the media later.

The minister, who along with the Reddy brothers had demanded the leadership change, was not present during the CM’s three previous visits.  Even two weeks after the crisis was resolved, Sriramulu had not visited Gadag.

He rushed to Naragund on Tuesday to welcome the CM and also visited some of the houses damaged due to floods in Arabana, Kasabagalli and Phatehagalli. They were accompanied by ministers Murugesh Nirani and Aravind Limbavali, legislators Shankar Patil, Munenakoppa, Sri Shailappa Bidaruru and former MLA Siriyannavar. However, Sriramulu didn’t listen to the grievances of the flood-victims regarding irregularities in relief works, lack of facilities and damaged roads.

Enjoys ‘2012’

The minister skipped Gadag and proceeded directly to Hubli where he watched the movie ‘2012’ at a theatre. Refusing to speak to reporters, he left Hubli.
