<div>VET BVL Polytechnic, JP Nagar celebrated its 28th annual day recently. The show witnessed the grandeur of VET. <br /><br /><div>On the occasion, chief guest Ajay Goel, managing partner, Crestlight Ventures Productions LLC, stressed on globalisation of India and offered tips to students on becoming good entrepreneurs. <br /></div><div><br />He said that hard work and passion towards one’s goal leads to success. </div><div><br />The function was presided over by BR Viswanath Setty, president of the trust. </div><div> </div><div>Students who bagged prizes in various national and State-level competitions were awarded by the management. <br /><br /></div><div>The college also released the magazine Udayanthi, which showcased the literary talents of students. <br /><br /></div><div>The cultural show was a spectacular one. It began with a classical dance followed by a fashion show. <br /><br /></div><div>The theme was ‘Metals and Cocktails’. <br /><br /></div><div>The cultural events had a healthy blend of solo and group dances. <br /><br /></div><div>The audience was seen dancing to each programme. <br /><br />There was also a skit on education for the girl child which was performed, which was a commendable effort. <br /></div><div> </div><div>The special feature – a dance and fashion show by the staff — was highly appreciated by everyone. The teachers were dressed in sixties and seventies’ style attire. </div><div> </div><div>At the end, principal G Sreelatha congratulated the staff and students for a memorable day and successful programme.</div></div>
