Continuing their drive against drunk driving, the Delhi Traffic Police prosecuted 368 such people on Saturday night. The violators were also called for a counselling session on Sunday following five hours of the drive on Saturday.
The traffic police had deployed 540 officers at 108 vulnerable points across the city. They were armed with sufficient number of alcometers and efforts were made to provide suspects with fresh blow pipes while conducting the breath test.
The counselling consisted of lectures as well as screening of short films. Those who attended the sessions had their vehicles released after they gave written pledges that they would not repeat the offence.
