A 33-year-old call centre employee allegedly fell to his death from the sixth floor of his office building near the Outer Ring Road off Domlur under the HAL Airport police limits on Tuesday morning.

Mahendra, a resident of Ramamurthy Nagar, was working at a call centre located in Maruthi Infotech Centre. On Tuesday, he went for his morning shift at 5 am and around 5.30 am, he went to the rooftop on the sixth floor from his office on the third floor. It is said that he had gone to the terrace to have tea and smoke, but fell to his death.

The security guard, standing beneath, heard a sound and found Mahendra lying on the ground, bleeding profusely. He informed the employees at the office and alerted the police.

The police sent the body for post-mortem. No death note has been found. Mahendra was not married and was staying with his parents in Ramamurthy Nagar.
