'Students can approach colleges directly for engg seats

Engineering aspirants who have not been able to get seats till now can still hope to get one. A release issued by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on Thursday has asked students to directly approach the government engineering colleges for the same.

With the KEA having completed the CET engineering seat allocation and lateral entry processes for the year 2014-15, several vacant seats in government colleges have been returned to the colleges. 
 
Principals of respective colleges will allot seats on first-come first-served basis before August 15, the release said.
