Digvijaya cut up about Kagodu remarks

Legislative Assembly Speaker Kagodu Thimmappa’s outburst against the State government has not gone down well with the party high command.

AICC general secretary in charge of Karnataka, Digvijaya Singh, is understood to have expressed his displeasure at Kagodu’s comments that governance in the State should improve.

It was speculated that Singh spoke to Kagodu over the phone in this regard. However, Kagodu, when contacted by Deccan Herald, denied it. Singh is  learnt to have called up Kagodu when some State party leaders drew his attention to the Speaker’s criticism of the functioning of the government.
 Singh was also informed about Kagodu’s curt reaction, saying he does not even know who Digvijaya Singh was.
