JOIN USA City Civil Court reserved for Saturday its order on the anticipatory bail application of Karthik Gowda, son of Railway Minister D V Sadananda Gowda, in connection with a rape and cheating case.
The lawyer representing complainant Mythreya Gowda submitted before the judge evidence which would establish her wedding with Karthik Gowda which, according to her, took place in Mangalore. The lawyer also submitted details of the phone conversation between Mythreya and Karthik. He pleaded against granting Karthik bail, as he would tamper with evidence by using his influence.
Mythreya had filed a complaint against Karthik Gowda under Sections 376 (rape) and 420 (cheating) of the IPC at RT Nagar police station on August 27. She lodged a complaint against Karthik after learning from the media that he had got engaged to another girl.
