An inebriated youth killed his father during a drunken brawl at their home in M Hosur under Chikkajala police staton limits on Saturday night. The deceased has been identified as Narayanappa (55).
According to police, Muniraju (28) and his father used to work as masons. They were returning home drunk and quarrel frequently. A similar brawl ensued on Saturday also.
In a fit of rage, Muniraju dragged his father out of the house and began thrashing him. He hit his father with club on his head. Neighbours rushed him to a hospital, after they found him lying in a pool of blood, but he was declared brought dead. Police have arrested Muniraju.
