'Greedy ministers harming party's fame'

Addressing reporters here on Saturday, he said that those senior BJP legislators had strived to build the party, based on the party’s principles. There are four legislators, who were elected for four times and three MLAs with three term victory. Party should give ministerial berth to those experienced MLAs, he added.

“I do not plead the party with personal interest. I have no regrets even if the party does not give me a Cabinet position. However, those who dedicated their life sincerely for the party should not be neglected,” Appacchuranjan said.

“About 40-50 MLAs have expressed their moral support to my stand to save the party. A meeting of all dissatisfied senior MLAs will be held in Bangalore within few days to take the final decision,” he informed. “I am ready to resign as MLA, if situation warrants for my resignation to save the party,” he added.
