<p>Just days after world number 10 David Ferrer pulled out of the inaugural Champions Tennis League owing to health issues, the organisers of the Vijay Amritraj-found league on Tuesday announced that the Spaniard will be replaced by Leander Paes.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Paes will feature for Punjab Marshalls in the tournament which starts on November 17.<br /><br />“I am very happy to be a part of Champions Tennis League 2014 playing for the Punjab Marshalls,” Paes said.<br /><br />"I am looking forward to a very competitive and challenging league format that will bring some of the best international tennis to different parts of the country. I look forward to playing with Somdev (Devvarman), Garbine (Muguruza) and Greg (Rusedski), and together, I believe we will be a strong contender for the title,” he added.</p>
