Notice issued to former ATI director general

An audit report has been sought into the allegations of funds’ misuse against senior IAS officer Amita Prasad, during her tenure as the director general of Administrative Training Institute (ATI), Chief Secretary Kaushik Mukherjee said here on Tuesday.

The present ATI Director General IAS officer Rashmi Mahesh had written to the chief secretary about the alleged misuse of funds.

Preliminary report

“A preliminary report on the charges has been submitted by the Additional Chief Secretary of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, T M Vijaybhaskar. Based on the report, we have issued a notice to Amita Prasad and have given her 15 days’ time to reply,” Kaushik Mukherjee informed.
At present, Amita Prasad is on central deputation with the Water Resources Ministry.
