Last Updated 26 January 2015, 19:50 IST

Personnel of the ISRO/ISAC unit of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) exhibited an impressive show of weapon drill without any word of command at the Republic Day parade on the ISRO/ISAC campus on Monday.

The silent weapon drill was performed by the CISF personnel with different firing positions and synchronisation using service weapons.

The CISF personnel also demonstrated a fabulous exercise known as 5 BX in just 11 minutes, with the objective of achieving a high level of physical fitness, tolerating physical stress and withstanding fatigue for longer periods.

In addition to this, various tough tasks of stripping and assembling a AK-47 rifle by left hand and holding another weapon in the other hand and stripping the parts of weapons like AK-47, SLR, INSAS and pistol blindfolded were performed. They also demonstrated assembling the parts in the correct order in the correct weapon even when the non-identical parts are mixed randomly in the drill of handling unfamiliar situations.
