Pulse polio drops were administered to 1,55,516 children in Dakshina Kannada district, registering 89.52 per cent success.
District-in-Charge Minister Krishna Palemar inaugurated the pulse polio drive at Wenlock Hospital.
In Mangalore, 66,833 children were administered polio drops, Puttur —23,462 (94.02 per cent), Belthangady—22,314 (95.90 per cent), Bantwal—31,849 (92.66 per cent).
Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) limits has registered lowest percentage of 79.17 per cent, according to a press release.
