In fact, police had interrogated his assistant Mahadevaswamy on Tuesday. Police have suspected even Mahadevaswamy’s role in murder as he had called the ambulance at 12 in the midnight though murder took place around 10 pm. When Shankar was murdered, a solider from Assam and his wife were staying in one of the rooms. However, they have not given any information to the police, which has led to suspicion.
It is said that Shankar was a drug addict and was involved in real estate business in the past. In fact, he had married a girl when he was working as a Choreographer in Rajkumar Film Institute and later had deserted her. However, police are optimistic of solving the case by Thursday evening.
