Rajasthan Minister for Public Health Engineering Kiran Maheshwari on Tuesday said Rajathan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has invited investors to set shop in their state and said it would help bring about a transformation in the economic landscape, as part of its Resurgent Rajasthan programme.

Maheshwari said investors would be offered the same financial incentives and subsidies offered under Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme (RIPS). Under RIPS, the state provides exemption in land tax, electricity duty tax, land conversion tax and VAT. We would provide special packages, for instance, taxes would be reduced by 50 per cent if a company employs more than 500 people, she added.

Maheshwari, along with CM Raje, Minister for Public Works Department and Transport, Yoonus Khan and the Commissioner, Department of Industries, Abhay Kumar are here as part of a series of roadshows being held across India and abroad to promote investment opportunities in Rajasthan ahead of the Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit, slated to be held in Jaipur on November 19 and 20.
