<p>Tense moments prevailed when a leopard entered a house at a farmhouse on the outskirts of Gollarahosahalli village in the taluk on Thursday. Efforts are on to trap the big cat.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Cattle are sheltered in the farmhouse owned by Mayannagowda of the village. Mayannagowda and his father Channegowda noticed the animal in the morning. They then rushed out of the house.<br /><br />Forest department personnel arrived at the spot and placed a cage at the entrance. Nets were also brought in for the operation to capture the big cat. <br /><br />Efforts to shoot a tranquiliser at the leopard failed. A dog was kept inside the cage as a bait, but did not help in catching the leopard. <br /><br /><br /></p>
