Thick fog at BIA today

While percentage of occurrence is less, the duty officer said that fog or mist would occur in some areas on early morning. “The fog can last from 5 am till 6.30 am. It will decline thereafter. The foggy condition is likely to last till the end of February,” he said.

Density of fog is not expected to be thick in the City. However, the density of the fog is likely to be 75 per cent and above in the outskirts like BIA. Hence, visibility will be not beyond one kilometre during such conditions, he added.
