One-day campaigner Ramya missing from action

Looks like actor and former MP Ramya was a one-day campaigner for the Congress. She is out of the campaign scene as she has reportedly returned to England.

According to sources in the Congress, Ramya would not be available for the campaign. She was in the party office on August 13 and was seen taking selfie with youngsters. She also campaigned for a couple of hours and left. In fact, she hogged more limelight than the candidates. Now, the party has no clue as to when she would return.

The Congress is banking on other film personalities like Minister Umashree, ‘Mukhya Mantri’ Chandru, Bhavana, Bhavya, Jayamala and others to hit the streets to brighten the poll prospects of the Congress candidates.
