JOIN USBJP leaders including three union ministers criss-crossed the City on Wednesday, campaigning for the party’s candidates for the BBMP polls.
While Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers H N Ananth Kumar participated in a bike rally in BTM Layout, his cabinet colleague and Law Minister D V Sadananda Gowda campaigned in Yeshwantpur. Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu spent most of the day in Yelahanka.
The BJP had planned a blitzkrieg of rallies and road shows across the City on Wednesday, practically the last day for public campaigning.
The highest demand was for the cine-star elements in the party including Jaggesh, Tara and Malavika. Actor Shruthi campaigned for the party at Yeshwantpur along with Sadananda Gowda, Tara at JP Nagar, Sarakki, Kempapura Agrahara and Laggere and Malavika at Chamarajpet.
The party has planned door-to-door reach-out programmes on Thursday and Friday.
