The Rotary Club of Bangalore has spread its wings of assistance liberally and initiated various developmental works in the City.

Recently, the club organised a ‘Mega Diabetes Walkathon’ to bring awareness among the residents of Seegehalli and Kannamangala of Whitefield area. The walkathon was conducted by Force - GW, a group of volunteers from the local resident associations who came together to address the increasing issue of diabetes.

The cause that aimed at bringing about awareness of the very common disease of diabetes, saw participation from over 350 students who were joined by nearly 700 adults including the
Rotarians.

     The prominent names who participated in the walkathon included Reeth Abraham, and star athlete Arjuna, who walked along the highway holding placards and banners bringing awareness about the disease.
