Sri Sai Ram Vidya Mandira to take on Mallya Aditi

An Impressive bowling performance from Vijay Singh helped Sri Sai Ram Vidya Mandira eke out a nine-run win over Sri Jnanakshi Vidyaniketan in the semifinals of the Division-III, under-14 cricket tournament for the BTR shield here.

Sri Sai Ram Vidya Mandira will take on Mallya Aditi International School for title. Mallya Aditi defeated Cambridge Public School, Channapatna by a massive 136-run in the other last-four clash.

Batting first, Sri Sai Ram were bowled out for 175 runs in 46.4 overs, with Vinayak MB (39), Vedanth (33) and Ujjwal (37) getting the runs. Deekshith P (3/38) and Likhith Chinnappa (3/28) claimed three wicket each.

In reply, Sri Jnanakshi could only muster 165 runs, before being bowled out in 47 overs. Tanuj L (44) and Jatin E (44) got among the runs. For Sri Ram Sai, Vijay (4/34), Vedanth (2/38) and Dharshan (2/33) were the wicket-takers.

Mallya Aditi International School: 250/9 in 50 overs (Manoveer 34, Aryan Joshi 44 n.o.; Sai Vinay 4-36) bt Cambridge Public School, Channapatna: 114 all out in 29.2 overs (Sudeep 40; Samit Dravid 2-16, Aryan Joshi 2-22, Aaryan Shilotri 4-17).
