When you want to have a quick meal between work or want to the end the day with some mouth-watering delicacies, ‘Kund Indian Barbecue’ is the place to go. Although its a small joint with just a few seats available, the menu options are plenty.

Serving some delicious North Indian cuisines, one might often find this restaurant crowded during peak hours. While there aren’t a wide variety for the vegetarians, it’s definitely a non-vegetarian’s haunt — all of it for a fairly reasonable price. So, whether it’s the chicken, lamb, mutton or fish that you crave for, they have it all. They are also popular for their biryani and other rice items.

It’s advised that one goes here with no expectations of being treated like a hi-end restaurant guest. The waiters are always in a hurry to attend the other customers, so they don’t hear you immediately, fret not, they are doing their best.

Although the menu may seem like a non-vegetarian’s haven, you’ll be surprised to find an equal number of vegetarians as well. Their ‘paneer tikkas with mint chutney’, ‘ veg seekh kebab’, ‘shahi kofta’, ‘bhindi fry’, and ‘dal makhini’ are some of the popular ones. And for the carnivorous ones, you can dig into the ‘tangdi kebab’, ‘gosht mazedar kebab’, ‘peshawari kebab’, and their much renowned ‘tandoori pomfret’.

However, they are not just about the barbecued dishes, but they also have ‘roti’, ‘kulchas’ and more that grabs one’s attention. Grilled and toasted to perfection are the ‘kulchas’ that are brought to your table without much delay. But if you do happen to miss, their biryanis are a must-have. Served to you from a true-Punjabi, expect the food to be rich, flavoursome and satisfied.

‘Kund Indian Barbeque’ is located on 303, Ashok Terrace, 1st Stage, 100 Feet Road, Indiranagar. For reservations, call 25281416.
