Ashrit scores ton as DPS (South) thrash CCA

 Ashrit Thayade slammed a century as DPS, South scored a crushing 299-run win over CCA in the Tiger Cup under-17 tournament match at the Global Academy of Technology ground.

Batting first, DPS posted a mammoth 353/7 in their 30 overs with Ashrit scoring 103 and Aqib making a fine 63.

Staring a mighty task, CCA lads folded up without a trace of fight, collapsing to 54 all out in 11 overs. Shubam picked up 3/4 while Taha (2/22) and Samarth (2/6) grabbed two wickets apiece.

In another match, half-centuries from Ninad Nesar (84) and Mohit Verma (88 n.o.) powered Jawans to a convincing 66-run victory over BUCC (B).

Jawans posted 254/3 in 30 overs and then bowled out BUCC for a paltry 188 in 26.4 overs.
