The BJP on Thursday night decided to field Union Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu for the Rajya Sabha for the fourth time from the Karnataka Legislative Assembly constituency.
The decision comes amid online campaign against fielding Naidu in the Rajya Sabha election. Naidu will be in Bengaluru to finalise his nomination formalities for the election scheduled to be held on June 11. The last date for filing of nomination is May 31.
