Bad road in Bhadrappa Layout

The road passing through Bhadrappa Layout (6th cross) and Balaji Layout has been in a poor condition for over two years now.

Poor patch work that the BBMP is interested only in recording expenditure. Will the BBMP wake up before any accident takes place?

Garbage dumps in Rustam Bagh

The collection and disposal of garbage in Rustam Bagh Layout (ward number 113 ) have become a big issue as the BBMP, which is mandated to undertake the work for which residents pay property tax and cess, has singularly failed to address the problem.

Garbage is thrown on the road by careless citizens, and the BBMP doesn’t lift it for weeks. This has given way to garbage dumps across the road with the resultant health issues troubling the residents. Is it not the responsibility of the BBMP to act responsibly and do its work without fail?

Waste dumping in defence forest

I reside in a building which faces the defence forest opposite the Jarakabande Sandal reserve forest in Jalahalli. There has been indiscriminate waste dumping inside the forest by local residents. The amount of garbage has been steadily increasing and the defence authorities have not taken notice of this illegal practice.

Although the Air Force has built a boundary wall to protect its forest, a portion of the wall has been deliberately left unconstructed with a warning board which reads, “Trespassers will be prosecuted.” But people freely traverse through the forest and cut trees to pave a makeshift road through the forest. Is the Air Force aware that people are freely violating its land? I sincerely request the authorities to clear the dumped garbage.

Unscheduled power cuts

Unscheduled power cuts have become common in Hulimavu S10 Division. No prior information is given in this regard to the public. The Bescom authorities claim that there is no shortage of power. Yet, we are facing daily power cuts for several hours. The engineers are not bothered and claim that there is some technical fault.

They are probably selling power illegally and making money. Also, the number 9243150000 where an SMS can be sent to record grievances has been scrapped. I request the authorities to take action against concerned officials and resolve our issue immediately.

Shabbily filled potholes in HAL II Stage

The stretch of the 1st Cross in HAL II Stage, from the Namdhari's outlet to the junction with 7th Main in Indiranagar (Behind Sony Centre on 100 ft Road), has been in a pathetic state for many years. About a month ago, the potholes on the road were filled but the work done was so shoddy that it did not withstand even a single heavy shower.

Now, the condition of the road has reverted to the state it was in before the pothole-filling exercise. Public money has been wasted on such a shabby job and the concerned public officials need to be pulled up for such wastage of resources.
