<p> Industries Minister R V Deshpande on Saturday inaugurated the India International Innovation Fair 2016 (IIIF 2016) in Bengaluru.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The event was organised by Indian Innovators Association and supported by the International Federation of Inventors Association (IFIA), a Geneva-based body. The department of science and technology has also extended its support. <br /><br />Stressing on innovation, Deshpande said, “Sir M Visvesvaraya had said that either industrialise or perish, and now it is time to either innovate or perish.” <br /><br />The exibition, which was initially planned for three days at the BIEC, has been curtailed to a two-day event between September 10-11, owing to the Karnataka Bandh on Friday.</p>
